Design Patterns Quiz & Study App

Project Overview

A browser-based study tool covering seven software design patterns (Bridge, Decorator, Memento, State, Observer, Facade, Mediator). Study mode breaks down each pattern's participants, interactions, and consequences; quiz mode draws from 50+ randomized multiple-choice and true/false questions with immediate feedback and a full results review.

Key Features

• Interactive pattern browser covering seven design patterns in depth
• Customizable quiz mode: choose which patterns and question types to include
• Immediate visual feedback with detailed explanations after every answer
• Progress bar, question counter, and a full results review with score breakdown
• Fully responsive, dependency-free static app - runs from a single HTML file

Technical Challenges & Solutions

Keeping study content and quiz questions in sync as more patterns were added. Solved by centralizing each pattern's participants/interactions/consequences and its question bank in one data object per pattern, so the study view and the quiz engine both read from the same source instead of duplicating pattern knowledge.
